3D Shapes

Yesterday, we worked in pairs to identify a range of 3D shapes around the classroom.

We worked together to complete a tally chart and listed the ‘everyday objects’ that we could find. We then worked out which 3D shapes we found the ‘most of’ and the ‘least of’.

On Monday we had the pleasure of going to Mrs Wall’s class to the Year 5 exhibition. Class 5 loved it and Year 5 were amazing. Your work displayed was fantastic and your interaction with the Year 2’s was brilliant. You should be very proud of yourselves.

atlas chrome books

This afternoon the children used an atlas to locate continents, oceans and countries on a world map. They used the contents page and index to help them. The children then used the chrome books to research where animals originate from and where landmarks are located around the world. Finally, the children used Bee-Bots to direct themselves around the world map. They then used string to look at which continents they crossed.
